We are always looking to offer the best level of protection for our clients and ESET’s performance continues to be exemplary.
They recently won the PCMag Readers’ Choice Award for security suites, due to receiving the highest ratings from the survey for overall satisfaction and recommendation. They scored 9.3 for overall satisfaction, 9.3 for trust and 9.4 for likelihood to recommend.
The survey which was circulated to PCMag.com community members, covered multiple areas and asked them to rate products they had used in the last 12 months.
ESET received ratings of 9.0 or better on every measure except cost which scored a reasonable (8.4) as unfortunately it is not free.
The survey included a comment from one respondent:
“It is the best security suite I have ever used. Requirements are minimal, it scans fast, catches anything trying to sneak in.”
ESET have also been recognised for efficiency in a special business test by AV-Comparatives.
The test looked at Malware Protection, Real World Protection, performance including impact on speed and response to issues.
To be certified in December 2018 as an “Approved Business Product” by AV-Comparatives, the tested products had to score at least 90% in the Malware Protection Test with zero false alarms on common business software, and at least 90% in the overall Real-World Protection Test (i.e. over the course of four months), with less than hundred false alarms on any clean software/websites (and with zero false alarms on common business software).
Tested products also had to avoid any major performance issues and have fixed all reported bugs in order to gain certification.
ESET was awarded the certification in December 2018.
These are both great reasons why we continue to recommend ESET to clients. If you would like to know more about Antivirus, Encryption, Malware Protection or full IT security suites please get in touch.
