Again I learned an important lesson:-
:crazy: NEVER let your kids ‘play’ or ‘use’ your office PCs :crazy:

They get onto your PCs – install software to download games/music – and hey presto, your machine(s) are infested with malicious software/spyware/viruses and your internal network no longer works – costing both time and money to fix.

Nice trip into the Dales on a sunny day though – all in all quite a nice drive and an easy (if time consuming) task to perform…

Ever had that phone call?
You know, the one on Monday morning from the client you spent a long day fixing?

One word FEAR ! All fixed, working and great on Friday – What could the call be about? What’s gone wrong? :confused:

As it turns out nothing! Just a brief question and a thanks for staying late!!

Just had an extremely long day – sometimes I have to work for a living!!
Spent all day trying to get a lan-to-lan vpn connection from Manchester to Leeds. Easy?
#should# be but the router at the Leeds office decided it would keep on dropping the connection
Long hours later finally fixed it :) (i hope)

Whoever said this ‘work for yourself’ thing was easy??
