It's nice to catch up with clients after a period of no contact
Recently we’ve been contacted by some clients we’ve done projects for but haven’t heard from for a long time; by that I mean clients who wanted us for a specific service and whom we have not contacted for several years!
Two jumped right out at me for massively differing reasons…
Firstly we were contacted by a national charity we installed a new server system for, about 3 years ago (we did ask them if they’d had any issues and apparently we did an excellent job 
). A client we very much enjoyed working with.
Their contact was a strange list of coincidences, culminating in Tor getting a call from the chief exec to discuss their requirements.
They would like a new website and we are the ones to provide it 
The second was a ‘not so nice’ situation, where we were contacted by a new employee of one of the businesses we are affiliated with.
Suffice to say that this person left an extremely bad taste in the mouth – though the circumstances will remain the stuff of legends, it was over 10 years since and the angry feelings are still there. 
On reflection and on balance though, I think it’s falling on the positive of the fence for a good/bad week.
