Now I had a meeting in Chapel Allerton this morning, and off I did dutifully pop. driving was mostly ‘interesting’ thanks to a high DPH factor…
I’d better explain a little, DPH is a theory I’ve been developing over the last few years ~ it goes something like this:

D – short for d***heads
P – short for per
H – short for hour

DPH – D***heads per Hour…
DPH fluctuates thanks to certain coefficients

• Proximity to schools at starting and leaving times
• Quantity of precipitation
• Proximity of busy motorway junctions
• Duration available for journey
• % of drivers wearing of head apparel
• Volume of dance music
• You get the idea…

So, this morning – passed 2 schools, raining heavily and left (as usual) at the last minute = High DPH.
Arrived ~ sat in car waiting for a lull in the torrent from above ~ went for a ‘gap’ ~ God exercised his ironic sense of humour as I exited the car just at the peak of the downpour.

I RAN to the clients meeting and arrived DRENCHED! :evil:
Had a good meeting though.

Sigh…
