Ticketmaster - a complete rip off!

I HATE TICKETMASTER!
I could now end this post and that would be that, but indulge me for a while and I’ll elaborate…

We (my GF and I) have just purchased 4 tickets for a show.
4x ticket price = Y
Y + 4x £3.50 ‘Service charge’ :shock: – What?? It’s an AUTOMATED online system!! What ‘service’ have I paid for exactly?
Y+ £14.00 + £3.50 ‘Postage’ :shock: – What are you posting for it to cost £3.50?? I recently managed to send a 500g package to southern Spain for just over £4.00!!!
Total price = Y + £17.50!
£17.50 for nothing!

I only wish the British public would boycott stuff like this – this is a blatant rip off – I wish I’d had an option to purchase the tickets other than this stupid system.
I am writing to the theatre in question to voice my opinion LOUDLY.

    Either that OR I’m the only person who moans about this stuff…

    I DO have a good track record of receiving compensation for complaining though…
