That’s the new ‘official’ record for my fastest EVER fix. 
In this case the word ‘fix’ is a little misleading…

I was called this morning by a client who had the message “no signal” on her monitor.
Pressed keys (not the screen saver), checked cables (unplugged them and plugged them back in just to be sure), turned the monitor off then on again, still no joy.
I asked the client to hold down the power button on the PC – to make the whole thing shut down. Down goes the PC.
“Turn it back on again”…Me
“Nothing, no lights or anything”…Client
“No lights on the PC?”…Me, now thinking that the PCs power supply had failed.
“There is no power to the PC or anything??”…me
“No, no power at all – no lights on anything”
 WHOOSH… Off I go…
Gets there…
Presses power on the PC…
Everything comes on fine… :eek:
Grrr……..!!!!!

What a waste of time! :cry:
