…of people saying I need to get out more, have a life etc etc.

Today I decided to build a Unix machine - that is to say a COMPLETELY FREE operating system and office suite of applications.
Some minor bug fixing and fun with printers gave me a surprisingly good machine :)
Email, surfing, document creation etc. were all as good as any Microsoft based system – more so if you take into consideration the price.

Perhaps this warrants more investigation…
