Wireless woes

I have been ‘playing’ with a wireless network at home.
I have 2 wire network adapters (1 internal card and 1 USB wireless ‘dongle’) both configured to connect to the wireless router.
Just to test I used another router, of the type we use in our commercial activities.
What a difference!
The ‘home’ router I had purchased, which advertises itself as having great signal strength, could hardly make a connection when sited just 6 feet from the PC.
The other router managed near 100% connection when switched on as far from the PC as I could get (at the far end of the garden on an extension lead! – Yes I AM that sad ;) )

Wow! 8)
