The business seems to be really taking off :) and my time is getting to be precious!

Also (make sure you are sitting down) for the first time since being 8 years old, I have NO PC at home!!!

OMG!!!

We ‘did’ the spare room and as a result the PC got removed – Haven’t had time to replace it… YET!
Tonights’ the night though

Made the switch to Vista today – not bad really, just takes time getting used to it…

It’s a bit slow though

I had a mental day on Tuesday:

The usual stooopid AM start (had to do a presentation too )
Zoomed to Halifax – Change an internal IP address range ‘cos of a conflict with an off site resource. Sadly they have a specific server in the mix, running Unix, requiring external changes. Nothing to do!!
WHOOSH… Off to Wakefield – BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) – Driver errors. Reinstall drivers, tested OK :)
WHOOSH… Off to Manchester for a monitor replacement and network printer install – Easy

Long day and a fab mileage claim!
I need to sleep all next week

5 PC install today – Off to Halifax again!

A client dropped off a PC at the office today – nuke and rebuild.
I got the very exciting task of watching the % slowly build up to 100%
It only took 3 hours
Now things get REALLY exciting and I get to install Windows XP :evil:

Whew!
Can I cope with this much fun??

I have been ‘playing’ (as Tor says) with virtual PCs
That is PCs running in little windows on the desktop of my main PC.
Cool!!

I now have:
  A windows 98 SE PC
  A Windows 2000 PC
  A Windows XP Pro
  & an Unbuntu PC (This is a flavour of Unix)

Amazing!
Running a Unix PC on an emulator on a Windows PC
Sometimes I realise just how sad I really am

Maybe I need to get a life…
