This week has been MAD!
Some interesting problems though:
Tor had Tuesday off (after the Bank Holiday) – and, of course, the phones went NUTS! :crazy:
Mundo little fixes & trying to rebuild Tor’s PC too – oh what fun…
Tuesday we met a potential new client, applied a few quick ‘fixes’ to their system and got to quote for some contract support.
Wednesday we had what I thought was a ‘test’ case:
Client – “My monitor is showing everything upside down!”
Me – “Hmm, try looking here for something called ‘rotation’”, Navigates client to the display properties…
Client – “Ah ha!! The rotation is set to 180°”, Unticks rotation box. “working now…”
The funny this was the client had rotated her monitor to ‘fix’ it :laugh:
Security seems to be something regularly ignored by mose of our competitors. Found several instances recently where companies had setup VERY simple passwords internally, but not installed any firewall. Much like keeping a spare key in a glass box on the OUTSIDE of you house – hmm…
